SUMMARY:Digimon Card Game: Tag-Tamer Tournament
DESCRIPTION:uIt’s time to partner up Tamers! The Missing Piece is holding its first event with it’s own team-based format we’re calling the Tag-Tamer format! How is this format different from a standard game? Well\, you see… \n\nTeams are made up of two players. Each player must have a 50 card deck\, and an egg deck with 0-5 cards in it.\nDeck building restrictions apply to both decks as if they are 1 deck. So if one player has a copy of Hidden Potential Discovered (BT3 – 103) in their deck\, then the other player isn’t allowed to have any copies of that card in their deck. Similarly\, this also means that there can only be up to 50 copies of cards like Vemmon (BT11 – 061) or Eosmon (BT6 – 085) between the two decks.\nDue to having a larger number of players in the game\, the player who takes the very first turn is allowed to draw a card on that turn. Each team will also set up 6 cards in their security; 3 cards from each player.\nTurns will alternate between the two teams\, and on each teams’ turn\, they will alternate which team member is playing. for example\, Player A from Team 1 will take the first turn\, then Player B from Team 2 will go after them. Then Player C from Team 1\, Player D from Team 2\, and then back to Player A.\n\n1:30pm – In person sign ups begin for players that didn’t sign up through our website. This is also a great time to work with your partner and make sure your decks follow this format’s deck building rules. \n2:00pm – Round 1 begins! There will be three 50-minute rounds\, during which\, teams will compete in a best-of-1 match. \nAround 5:pm – Prizes will be awarded! All players will get promotional items for participating\, can can expect additional prizes depending on their performance during the event!

DESCRIPTION:It’s time to team up\, Tamers! Join fellow fans of the Digimon Card Game at The Missing Piece as we build a community interested in trying alternative formats for this great game\, starting with this tag-team format! Here’s how it works: \n\nTwo teams consisting of two players each will play against each other in a best-of-1-game match. Teams will alternate which member is taking a turn when the memory gauge passes over to them. This should create a turn order like so: Player 1 (Team A) -> Player 2 (Team B) -> Player 3 (Team A) -> Player 4 (Team B) -> Play 1 (Team A) again.\nEach player will have a 50 card deck\, and a Digi-Egg Deck containing anywhere from 0 to 5 Digi-Egg cards. Both decks within a team must build their decks as if it was one deck. This means there cannot be more than 1 copy of a restricted card between the two decks\, no more than 4 copies of an unrestricted card\, and no more than 50 copies of cards that allow that many copies within a deck.\nAfter players have finished any mulligans for their opening hands\, teams will create their shared Security Stack. The Security Stack will start with 3 cards from each player for a total of 6 cards. These cards must be initially arranged so the first card is owned by one teammate\, the next card is owned by the other teammate\, etc.\nUnlike in a normal game\, the first turn player is allowed to draw a card. Play then continues normally from there\, following the turn order demonstrated above. During their turns\, players may only use activate the effects of their own cards\, and are not considered to be controlling their teammate’s cards.\nWhen a card of effect looks for a condition to be met by “your opponent” (for example: “If your opponent has 8 cards in their hand…”)\, you may choose which member of the opposing team meets the criteria. Similarly\, when attacking your opponents’ Security\, it is important to indicate which of the two players you are attacking. However\, either teammate may activate the Blocker ability of their Digimon to block an attack\, regardless of who was targeted.\n\n5:30pm – In person sign ups begin for players that didn’t sign up for the event through our website. This is also a great time to get food or drinks from our Barista! \n6:00pm – Round 1 begins! SUMMARY:Digimon TCG BT-17 Secret Crisis Pre-Release
DESCRIPTION:It’s time to go back to the beginning Tamers! In this set with cards referencing some of the first movies in the Digimon franchise\, players will get a chance to play with the first alternative win condition designed into the game. So join us in this exciting Pre-Release event! \n1:30pm – In person sign ups begin for players that didn’t register through our website. \n2:00pm – Deckbuilding begins! Players will have 50 minutes to build a 40 card deck and an egg deck with up to 5 egg cards. Remember\, for limited play like this\, you can ignore the color requirements for digivolving from 1 Digimon into another. You also aren’t limited to 4 copies of a single card in your deck! \n2:50pm – Round 1 begins. There will be three 50-minute rounds\, during which\, players will compete in a best 2-out-of-3 match. \nAround 6:00pm – Prizes are awarded! All players will get a promotional prize for participating\, as well as additional prizes depending on their performance in the event.
