DESCRIPTION:The Jigsaw Puzzle Race is back on!  Tables of 4 will compete to build the same 500 piece jigsaw puzzle the fastest. It’s $5 per person to enter\, and everyone at the winner’s table gets a 2-hour voucher for booking time in our exclusive VIP rooms. (That’s $40 in value for each person at the winning table!).  Also\, someone from your table can take home the puzzle. The image set for this event was from our last puzzle race. The puzzle this time will be similar\, but it will be a surprise for everyone. \nGrab some friends and sign up for your tickets right here on this page to reserve your spot.  You can sign up individually as well and see what new friends you can make on puzzle day. SUMMARY:D&D for Middle Schoolers: Thunderlock Barcrawl Intro Mission
DESCRIPTION:Join Dungeon Master Danielle and other middle school adventurers to explore fantasy worlds and embark on epic adventures in this PG introductory session! You decide how to act and what happens next as we traverse dangerous dungeons\, solve puzzles\, and fight monsters in this role playing game. This introductory session is for low tier characters which will be provided by the DM. If you have a 5th edition players guide and dice\, please bring them; both can be purchased at the shop beforehand\, but it’s not necessary. Character sheets\, paper\, pencils\, dice\, and books will be available for all players to use. \nWe expect sessions to finish on time and ask that children have a plan for getting home. Early pickups can be arranged ahead of time as necessary\, but they disrupt the immersion and should be avoided if possible. Danielle is an experienced social worker and teen mentor comfortable with managing a variety of feelings/abilities\, however\, if there is something we should be sensitive about\, please note it in the survey\, along with your contact information and plan for getting home. \nThis session is a sample of our upcoming weekly campaign offering\, so try this out to see if the full campaign is a good fit for you!

SUMMARY:Digimon Card Game: Rising Winds Draft
DESCRIPTION:Welcome Digimon Tamers! \nTo celebrate the release of Rising Winds (RB-01)\, let’s enjoy what the set has to offer with a special draft event! But how do you draft in Digimon? \n-Players are divided into groups of 4. Then\, each player in a pod will get 6 Booster Packs. \n-Boosters are opened 1 at a time. Each player will look at the cards in their booster\, pick 1 card from that pack\, and then pass the rest of the pack to the player on their left. When there are no more cards to pick from\, players will open the next pack\, pick a card\, and then pass the rest to the player on their right. It’s a good idea to keep your cards face-down\, and keep your choices a secret from your opponents! \n-Repeat the previous step until there are no more packs to open\, or cards to pick. Now you’ll start deck building! In a limited format like Sealed or Draft\, the rules for deck building and game play are a little different. for example\, your main deck must be 40 cards\, instead of 50 (your egg deck can still have anywhere from 0 to 5 cards in it)\, and color requirements for digivolution are ignored\, which can open up a lot of exciting combos you wouldn’t normally see. \n4:00pm – In person sign ups begin for anyone that didn’t register through our website. This is also a great time to order some food and drinks\, as well as get to know the other participants in the event! \n4:30pm – Drafting begins! We’ll start the draft promptly at 4:30\, so it’s a good idea to get here with enough time to make sure you’re not late. Once drafting begins\, players will have 60 minutes to draft and build their decks\, so quick thinking will give you a big advantage during this portion of the event. \n5:30pm – Round 1 begins! There will be 3 rounds\, during which\, players will have 50 minutes to compete in a best-2-out-of-3 match. If you’re game goes past the 50 minute time limit\, you and your opponent will have 3 turns collectively to decide a winner\, otherwise the game is a draw. If you had any games you still needed to play to complete your match\, they are also treated as draws. \nAround 8:30pm – Prizes will be awarded! All participants can expect to get at least 1 Booster Pack\, and can win additional packs depending on how they performed in the event\, as well as a Missing Pawn card to use during our Piecing It Together events on Sundays! \n \n

DESCRIPTION:The Jigsaw Puzzle Race is back on!  Tables of 4 will compete to build the same 500 piece jigsaw puzzle the fastest. It’s $5 per person to enter\, and everyone at the winner’s table gets a 2-hour voucher for booking time in our exclusive VIP rooms. (That’s $40 in value for each person at the winning table!).  Also\, someone from your table can take home the puzzle. The image set for this event was from our last puzzle race. The puzzle this time will be similar\, but it will be a surprise for everyone. \nGrab some friends and sign up for your tickets right here on this page to reserve your spot.  You can sign up individually as well and see what new friends you can make on puzzle day. What is Sorcery? \nSorcery is a tactical TCG where two players will compete against eachother in magical combat. Each player is represented on the board as an elemental Avatar. As your Avatar\, you will lay down Site cards to build the battlefield\, and use your Spellbook cards to cast powerful spells or summon minions to either defend your Avatar from attack\, or attack and defeat your opponent’s Avatar. The game is played over a gridded playfield\, and you’ll have to place your site cards carefully to make sure you give your minions a direct enough route to reach the oppossing Avatar without leaving yourself open to attack. \nInterested in seeing if this is the game for you? SUMMARY:Sorcery Draft
DESCRIPTION:Welcome one and all to the first Sorcery event held at The Missing Piece! This draft will give players a taste of the new Beta set! But how do you draft in Sorcery? Well… \nFirst\, players will each have 3 booster packs. Then\, each player will open 1 of those packs\, discard the basic site slot\, pick 1 card from the selection found in that pack\, and then pass that pack to the player on their left. This means those players will receive cards from the player on their right to pick from. This process will continue until there are no more cards to pick from. \nOnce players have run out of cards to pick from\, they’ll open the second pack and repeat the process from before\, except they will pass their cards to the right\, and receive cards from the player on their left. When the second round of passing has finished\, they’ll repeat the process one last time with their last pack\, passing cards to the left again like they did in the first round. \nNow that all the cards have been drafted\, players are expected to build a 25 card Spellbook and 12 card Atlas with the cards they drafted. If you don’t have enough cards to form a proper Atlas deck\, we will provide basic sites to help fill out the deck. A Sorcerer will be provided for everyone to use as their Avatar\, but any avatar drafted may be used instead of so desired. \n12:00pm – In person sign ups can begin for players that didn’t sign up through our website. \n12:30pm – Drafting begins! Once drafting starts\, we cannot add new players to the event\, so please be sure to arrive with enough time to sign up\, as well as order any food or drink you’d like to have before the games begin. Players will have 50 minutes to draft and deck build. \n1:30 pm – Round 1 begins! Best of 1 where players have 50 minutes to complete their match. 10 minutes will follow each match for breaks and overtime. \nAround 4:30pm – Prizes will be awarded! Each player can expect to receive 1 pack from Alpha\, and may receive additional prizes based on how they perform in the event as well as a few giveaways that will be randomly given throughout the event!

SUMMARY:Friday Night Magic - Cavers of Ixalan Draft
DESCRIPTION:Welcome Planeswalkers\, to a Jurassic adventure deep beneath the amazing plane of Ixalan! With the set being officially releaced\, let’s selebrate with a format of blood-thirsty conquest: Draft! \n5:30pm – In person sign ups for the event begin. This is also a great time to get food\, drinks\, and to chat with the other event participants. \n6:00pm – Drafting begins! We will start drafting promptly at 6\, so be sure to get here with plenty of time to get any supplies you might need. Players will have 50 minutes to draft and deck build. \n6:50pm – Round 1 begins. There will be three 50 minute rounds\, during which\, players will play a best 2-out-of-3 match. \nAround 9:30pm – Prizes will be awarded! 1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd place will receive Booster Packs\, 4th\, 5th\, 6th\, 7th\, and 8th place will get Promo Packs\, and all participants can expect to get a promotional Magic card as well as a Missing Pawn card for our Piecing It Together events on Sundays!

DESCRIPTION:The Jigsaw Puzzle Race is back on!  Tables of 4 will compete to build the same 500 piece jigsaw puzzle the fastest. It’s $5 per person to enter\, and everyone at the winner’s table gets a 2-hour voucher for booking time in our exclusive VIP rooms. (That’s $40 in value for each person at the winning table!).  Also\, someone from your table can take home the puzzle. The image set for this event posting was from one of our previous puzzle races. The puzzle this time will be a surprise for everyone. \nGrab some friends and sign up for your tickets right here on this page to reserve your spot.  You can sign up individually as well and see what new friends you can make on puzzle day. (If you sign up individually and don’t have a table preference\, we suggest signing up for a seat at a table that is already partially filled if possible. That way you won’t be at a table by yourself against a full table at the event!) \nIf the event fills up\, you can sign up for the waitlist below as well. We often get last minute cancellations and it helps to have some people on standby to fill in the available seats. Then the fun will ensue as you navigate the latest festival ensuring that everything goes off without a hitch. \nTeatime Adventures is a non-violent\, cozy roleplaying game by Snowbright Studio\, a friendly LGBTQ+ game studio dedicated to bringing you heartwarming and wholesome memories while you play. \nThis ticketed event comes with a bunch of great stuff including: \n\nAbout 3.5 hours of gameplay.  Hosted by Beverly\, your theatrical and gracious host for the event.\nThe Book! You get a copy of the Teatime Adventures first edition book to take home with you.\nA tea party.  Non-stop tea service will be included at the table with some selections off-menu and specifically paired to the story of the game. Catered baked goods will of course be included as well\, all on a lovely decorated table.\nAll the dice\, paper and other materials you’ll need to play. Just bring your most wholesome and cozy attitude along for the ride.
