SUMMARY:Friday Night Magic: Rumble in Ravnica Commander
DESCRIPTION:Are you ready to rumble\, planeswalkers? Now that we’ve introduced the 10th Magic expantion to be set in Ravnica\, and had a curated Remastered draft experience\, we thought it’d be fun to have a Ravnica-themed commander event where each player will represent a faction found or referenced in Ravnica! To avoid having a faction represented more than the others\, you’ll notice there is only 1 ticket you may purchase for each faction\, and 16 factions to choose from. Your deck must be the color or colors that faction represents. We will make sure each factions colors are listed next to their name in your ticket. \n5:30pm – In person sign ups begin for players that didn’t register through our website. This is also a great time to get any food\, drinks\, or supplies you might need before the event! \n6:00pm – Round 1 begins. There will be two 90 minute rounds\, during which all players will accumulate points that determine their rankings for prizes at the end of the event. Players can also get bonus points if their Commander is canonically from the plane of Ravnica (like Niv-Mizzet)\, or calls the plane home (like Jace Beleren)\, but it isn’t required that your commander or any of your other cards have any relation to Ravnica. \nAround 9:00pm – Prizes are awarded. All players will get a promotional card\, as well as additional prizes depending on their ranking at the end of the event!

DESCRIPTION:The Jigsaw Puzzle Race is back on!  Tables of 4 will compete to build the same 500 piece jigsaw puzzle the fastest. It’s $5 per person to enter\, and everyone at the winner’s table gets a 2-hour voucher for booking time in our exclusive VIP rooms. (That’s $40 in value for each person at the winning table!).  Also\, someone from your table can take home the puzzle. The image set for this event posting was from one of our previous puzzle races. The puzzle this time will be a surprise for everyone. \nGrab some friends and sign up for your tickets right here on this page to reserve your spot.  You can sign up individually as well and see what new friends you can make on puzzle day. (If you sign up individually and don’t have a table preference\, we suggest signing up for a seat at a table that is already partially filled if possible. This is also a great time to get to know the other participants!\n12:00pm – Deckbuilding begins. Players will have 50 minutes to build a 25 card Spellbook and 12 card Atlas from 6 booster packs.\n1:00pm – Round 1 begins! You decide how to act and what happens next as we traverse dangerous dungeons\, solve puzzles\, and fight monsters in this role playing game. This campaign is for low tier characters which will be provided by the DM. If you have a 5th edition players guide and dice\, please bring them; both can be purchased at the shop beforehand\, but it’s not necessary. Character sheets\, paper\, pencils\, dice\, and books will be available for all players to use. \nWe expect sessions to finish on time and ask that children have a plan for getting home. Early pickups can be arranged ahead of time as necessary\, but they disrupt the immersion and should be avoided if possible. Danielle is an experienced social worker and teen mentor comfortable with managing a variety of feelings/abilities\, however\, if there is something we should be sensitive about\, please note it in the survey\, along with your contact information and plan for getting home.

During our Piecing It Together event\, you can earn resource cards just by doing the type of activities you would normally do while spending the day with us.  These resources represent missing pieces from some of our favorite tabletop games\, and you can win prizes by collecting certain combos of them. \nThis event is currently running every week\, so if you didn’t quite get all the cards you need to get that combo\, just save them and bring them the next time we are running Piecing It Together.  Or\, perhaps you can find a friend or neighbor who can trade cards with you to finish off combos.
