DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the adrenaline-pumping\, one-on-one Jigsaw puzzling gauntlet! You and one other contestant will go head to head\, building a puzzle together.  Take turns putting in one piece at a time with your every move timed to the second.  When the puzzle is completed\, whoever took the least amount of time overall wins the face-off.  During this event you will build 6 puzzles with 6 different contenders! \nEarn a coveted missing piece token for each opponent you defeat\, and then turn those tokens in for prizes! You can bank your tokens for next month’s event as well if you want to save up for a bigger prize.  All it takes is one win to get a prize!

While not required\, it is encouraged as space is limited. After purchasing a ticket\, register with the Sorcery Play Network where pairing will occur at the time of event. \nPlay Network: https://play.sorcerytcg.com/events/b9a5078d-6022-476c-9941-bc434490580f \nWe got some exciting new limited rules in effect and will be utilizing the new draft kits: \n\nSpellslinger Avatar: new default avatar replacing the Sorcerer\, increasing your starting spell hand by +1. All avatars pulled from packs are legal to use\nNew basic sites: these sites will fill your atlas. They only provide mana and threshold\, increasing the power of pulled sites from your packs!\nSpellbook minimum reduced by 1. Minimum spellbook size now 24 spells (atlas remains at 12)\n\n11:00am – Start checking in via the play network website \n12:00pm – Begin arriving and checking in if you haven’t already. If the event is full and there are no shows\, we’ll begin filling in the spots. This is also a great time to get to know the other participants! \n12:15pm sharp – Deckbuilding begins. Players will have 45 minutes to build a 24 card Spellbook and 12 card Atlas from 6 booster packs. \n01:00pm – Round 1 begins! There will be four 50 minute rounds\, during which players will compete in best-of-1 games with 10 minute breaks between rounds.\n \nPrizes: 1 pack per win\, guaranteed pack even if no wins! Winner gets a box of Arthurian Legends. We’ll have some prizes given at random for those who stick around for the entire event. \nNote: Play Network round timer defaults to 30 min and can’t be changed. DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the adrenaline-pumping\, one-on-one Jigsaw puzzling gauntlet! You and one other contestant will go head to head\, building a puzzle together.  Take turns putting in one piece at a time with your every move timed to the second.  When the puzzle is completed\, whoever took the least amount of time overall wins the face-off.  During this event you will build 6 puzzles with 6 different contenders! \nEarn a coveted missing piece token for each opponent you defeat\, and then turn those tokens in for prizes! You can bank your tokens for next month’s event as well if you want to save up for a bigger prize.  All it takes is one win to get a prize!

DESCRIPTION:Mondays (21 Oct-18 Nov): Younger Middle School (10-13ish)* \n14 Oct is a no school day and will be DROP IN ONLY \n11 Nov is a no school day and will be DROP IN ONLY \n**Helpful and patient older kids also welcome! \nJoin Game Master Danielle and other middle school adventurers to explore fantasy worlds and embark on epic adventures in this PG campaign! You decide how to act and what happens next as we traverse dangerous dungeons\, solve puzzles\, and fight monsters in this role playing game. This campaign will be directed by the players\, so bring a character up to 3rd level or make your own with us! If you have a 5th edition players guide and dice\, please bring them; both can be purchased at the shop beforehand\, but it’s not necessary. Character sheets\, paper\, pencils\, dice\, and books will be available for all players to share. \nWe expect sessions to finish on time and ask that children have a plan for getting home. Early pickups can be arranged ahead of time as necessary\, but they disrupt the immersion and should be avoided if possible. Danielle is an experienced social worker and teen mentor comfortable with managing a variety of feelings/abilities\, however\, if there is something we should be sensitive about\, please note it in the survey\, along with your contact information and plan for getting home. \nNightly Schedule: \n4-5: Games\, character creation\, world building \n(Students can catch up from the week\, play other games from the library\, work on their character build\, or help world build etc.) \n5-5:30: Dinner (food will be available for sale at the cafe counter) \n5:30-6:30: Dungeons and Dragons campaign! \n$125 for the 4-week campaign (10/21\, 10/28\, 11/4\, 11/18). SUMMARY:Altered: Sealed Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Join our tournament of Altered: Beyond the Gates. You should already know the rules to the game when you sign up for this event. If you want to learn to play\, consider coming to one of our Altered events on Friday evenings for free. \nIn a Sealed format\, each player will get 7 packs of cards. They will then have 30 minutes to build their decks. The tournament will last for 4 rounds limited to 30 minutes per round. \nLimited decks in Altered must adopt the following guidelines: \n\nA deck must contain a minimum of 30 cards.\nToken cards do not count towards the deck minimum. If you have token cards to go with your deck\, they start outside of your deck.\nYou may play cards from up to three different factions.\nA deck can include a Hero card. If so\, it counts toward the 30 cards minimum. Your Hero must be from one of the factions in your deck. You may choose to not play a Hero card.\nThere are no restrictions on the number of cards with the same name that you can play in your deck.\nThere are no restrictions on the number or rare or unique cards you can play in your deck.\n\nPrizes will be awarded to all participants. Everyone will receive a 3-card Promo pack. Winners (first\, second and third place) will also receive standard Altered: Beyond the Gates booster packs as well. \nIf you have Mana Convergence cards in your collection\, please bring them along. You may need them to complete your deck.

SUMMARY:Magic: The Gathering - Foundations Prerelease (Friday)
DESCRIPTION:Lets get back to basics Planeswalkers! \nAre you a new player to Magic? Perhaps you’re coming back to the game after a long break\, or introducing the game to a friend? Then Magic Foundations will be a great set to jump into! Use this Prerelease event to enjoy the Sealed format and see the bare bones fundamentals that make up one of the greatest games in history! \n5:00pm – In person registration begins! This is also a great time to get some food\, drinks\, and extra supplies you might need for the event\, like card sleeves! \n5:30pm – Deckbuilding begins! Players will have 50 minutes to build a 40 card deck from the cards provided in their Prerelease kit. \n6:20pm – Round 1 begins! There will be three 50 minute rounds where players compete 1-on-1 in a best-2-out-of-3 match. \nAround 9:30pm – Prizes are awarded! All players will get promotional prizes for participating\, and additional prizes based on their performance in the event.
