DESCRIPTION:Welcome Planeswalkers! Now that we’re in a new year\, why not try out some different formats at The Missing Piece? To start things off\, we have the Pauper format! This is a 60 card constructed format where every card in your deck must either currently be printed as a common\, or has been printed as a common at some point in its history. Please be sure to double check this official ban list when deck building\, and feel free to ask questions in our Discord server if this format interests you! \n5:30pm – In person sign ups begin for players that didn’t register through our website. This is also a great time to buy food and drinks\, and to get to know the other participants! \n6:00pm – Round 1 begins. There will be three 50-minute rounds\, during which\, players will play in a best-2-out-of-3 match. \nAround 9:00pm – Prizes will be awarded! All participants will get a promotional card\, as well as a Missing Pawn card to use during our Piecing It Together events on Sundays. Players can expect additional prizes depending on their performance in the event.

DESCRIPTION:Welcome Planeswalkers! To finish our tour of formats\, we have a variant of chaos draft that incorporates a fan favorite: Mystery Boosters! Each player with have a Mystery Booster as one of their three packs that they’ll be drafting from\, as well as two packs that could be from almost any other set! This time\, we’ll have the available packs players can choose from laid out\, and players will take turns picking which packs they want to draft from. Pack selection will be done in a serpentine pattern\, meaning\, if there are 8 players\, then players 1\, 2\, 3\, 4\, 5\, 6\, and 7 will select 1 pack each in that order. Player 8\, however\, will get to pick both of their packs\, since they picked last\, and then the remaining packs will be picked out by players 7\, 6\, 5\, 4\, 3\, 2\, and 1\, one at a time\, and in that order. \n5:30pm – In person sign ups begin for players that didn’t register through our website. This is also a great time to get any food\, drinks\, and supplies you might need for the draft\, like card sleeves! \n6:00pm – Drafting begins! DESCRIPTION:The Jigsaw Puzzle Race is back on!  Tables of 4 will compete to build the same 500 piece jigsaw puzzle the fastest. It’s $5 per person to enter\, and everyone at the winner’s table gets a 2-hour voucher for booking time in our exclusive VIP rooms. (That’s $40 in value for each person at the winning table!).  Also\, someone from your table can take home the puzzle. The image set for this event posting was from one of our previous puzzle races. The puzzle this time will be a surprise for everyone. \nGrab some friends and sign up for your tickets right here on this page to reserve your spot.  You can sign up individually as well and see what new friends you can make on puzzle day. (If you sign up individually and don’t have a table preference\, we suggest signing up for a seat at a table that is already partially filled if possible. We provide a warm and welcoming community for all of these games and more!
