Digimon Card Game Digital Monster Day Commemoration Event

Welcome Tamers! Be some of the first to play with the cards in EX9: Versus Monster in the Digital Monster Day event!

3:30pm – In person sign ups begin for players that didn’t sign up through our website. This is also a great time to meet the other participants, and get any food, drink, or supplies you may need for the event.

4:00pm – Drafting and deckbuilding begins! Players will have 50 minutes to draft 6 packs worth of cards and build a 40 card deck. Remember, when drafting, you open a booster, select 1 card from the 12 in the pack to keep, and pass the rest to one of the players next to you, while receiving cards from the player you didn’t pass cards to. This process repeats until 6 boosters have been opened and passed around. When building your deck, don’t forget that you may ignore color requirements for standard digivolution, and if you don’t have any cards in your digi-egg deck, you may play a Lv.3 digimon as if there is a Lv.2 Ddigimon in the raising area. You may also have any number of copies of the same card in your deck.

4:50pm – Round 1 pairings are announced. There will be three 50 minute rounds, during which, players will compete against each other in a best 2-out-of-3 match. Don’t forget to let our judge know the results at the end of the match!

Around 8pm – Prizes are awarded! All players can expect to get promotional items for participating, with the potential for additional prizes based on their performance in the event.
