Digimon Card Game: Welcome Tamer and Dual Revolution Hybrid Event

Welcome Tamers! Been dying to introduce a friend to the Digimon Card Game? This event is a great way to do just that! Celebrate the release of the new Beatbreak and Data Squad starter decks, and get a sneak peek at the new Dual Revolution set!

So, what do we mean by a “Hybrid Event”? Well you see, at the start of the event, players will get their choice of 1 of the new starter decks, as well as 2 booster packs of BT25: Dual Revolution. You’ll have 15 minutes to open up your starter deck and boosters, and use any cards from what you opened to make adjustments to the deck.

5:00pm – In person sign ups begin. This is a great time to get to know the other players in the event, grab for food or drinks from our amazing baristas, or buy supplies you might need for the event, like sleeves!

5:30pm – Deck “building” begins! As stated above, players will have 15 minutes to look over the cards they opened and make any adjustments they want to the starter deck they picked for the event.

5:45pm – Round 1 pairings are announced! There will be three 50-minute rounds where players will compete against each other in a best-2-out-of-3 match. Between each game, and between rounds, you can swap cards between your deck and the rest of the cards you opened for the event. Keep this in mind if you find your deck isn’t performing how you expected it to.

Around 9pm – Prizes are awarded! All players will get promotional items for participating, as well as additional prizes based on their performance during the event! Any participants that are new to the game will also receive some bonus promo material!
