Friday Night Magic: Secret Partners Commander

In the last FNM of 2021, it’ll be important to keep your friends close. But first, you’ll have to figure out who your friends are! In secret partners commander, you are part of a team, but only one teammate will know, and will have to find a way to convey that information to their partner without saying it outright. But you have to be careful, since there will be one player in the group that’s not a team player! Will you be part of the team that wins it all? Or will the Lone Wolf be the last one standing?

5:30pm – Registration for the event begins.

6:00pm – The game begins! Pairings for this 1 round event will be determined based on the number of players attending. Ideally, each table will have an odd number of players. Players will randomly be given a card to denote which team they are with. Certain players will then show their card so their teammate will know who they’re playing with. While player will have their own life total, if one member of a team is eliminated, their whole team is taken out. Players can earn points over the course of the game based on their actions. Rankings are then determined by the total points of each team.

around 8:00pm – Prizes are awarded! 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will receive booster packs while 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th will get Promo Packs*. All participants will receive promotional cards* as well as free drink cards and a special card for our Piecing it Together events!
